Why Zürich?
Zürich, the city with the highest quality of life worldwide.
The city is located in the eastern part of Switzerland , on the Limmat at the outflow of Lake Zurich . Its inhabitants are called Zürcher (or Stadtzürcher to differentiate them from the other inhabitants of the canton).
Zurich, which emerged from the Roman base of Turicum , became a free imperial city in 1262 and a member of the Swiss Confederation in 1351 . The city of the reformer Huldrych Zwingli became the second most important (after Wittenberg ) center of the Reformation in 1519 . To this day it is considered the starting point of the worldwide Reformed Church and the Anabaptists . In the industrial age , the city experienced its rise to become today's economic metropolis of Switzerland.
CAFÉS
My favorite cafés in Zürich
Café Babus
“Where a high quality cup of coffee means more”: the elegantly furnished Babus Bakery & Coffeehouse spoils its guests with freshly baked cakes, fruit tarts, waffles, fruit juices, and much more, accompanied by a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee. A warm and cozy atmosphere awaits guests at Babu’s, which is situated not far from the Bahnhofstrasse.

Great place and cozy space in a very central location. Both the coffee and the sweets I tried were wonderful.

In the historic ambience of the lively, cosmopolitan brasserie, you can enjoy a variety of creations at any time of the day: an invigorating breakfast, light snacks, fine classics from all over the world, a healthy lunch or a relaxed dinner in "rustic industrial style".
